Prof. Dr. Tobias Wolbring at the GESIS Summer School in Survey Methodology 2023
As part of the GESIS Summer School, the course “Causal Inference Using Survey Data” will be held by Heinz Leitgöb and Tobias Wolbring from 7 to 11 August 2023 in Cologne.
The course introduces concepts and methods of causal research and causal modelling in the social sciences. Participants will learn key principles and techniques of causal research, including potential outcomes, counterfactuals, and causal diagrams, and apply these concepts and methods to real-world examples from the social sciences. One of the aims of the course is to enable students to design, conduct and interpret causal inference studies in the social sciences.
