Since April 2018, Eva has been a doctoral student and a research assistant at the Chair of Empirical Economic Sociology at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg as well as the deputy editor of the journal Soziale Welt. Between Oktober 2019 and March 2022 she worked as a research assistant in the project “Origins Matter” based at the Chair of Sociology, area Social Stratification, at the University of Bamberg.

She completed her BA in Sociology (minors: Economics and Business Administration) at LMU Munich which included a semester abroad at the University of Copenhagen. Next to her graduate studies in the MA in Sociology Programme in Mannheim she graduated from the University of Oxford with an MSc in Sociology.

She is particularly interested in investigating social inequalities with her research mainly focusing on the area of ‘integration and migration’, labour market sociology as well as gender inequality. Her further interests include Rational Choice Sociology and quantitative methods of empirical research.
